Why are there little to no colostrum side effects? The biggest reason is that colostrum supplements are completely natural — they come from cows, after all! When a supplement is completely natural, it usually doesn’t have any side effects, due to its lack of artificial ingredients and substances. In fact, such substances are usually the only cause for side effects; if a supplement doesn’t have them, then there’s a good chance that there are also no side effects, since the body is able to take it in and process it smoothly.

On a side note, there has been some concern about the possibility of catching mad cow disease by taking colostrum. Keep in mind that this disease is not transmitted through milk products, which means that there is no way to catch it by using colostrum. Just remember that it’s probably a good idea to avoid any animal products from countries where mad cow disease is found.

What about Colostrum Side Effects from Lactose? I am Lactose Intolerant…

There is extremely little lactose in colostrum. Lactose is the sugar in milk, which is removed when isolating the lactose. Our featured product, Symbiotics Colostrum Plus, is completely safe for lactose intolerant individuals too!

A friend of mine told me that she has cured her knee problems taking 9 capsules per day of 600 mgs. of Colostrum for one month and then reducing the amounts to 4 per day.
I decided to do the same and after 21 days of taking it, my knee problems are still there. I noticed it helped my gastritis and that is great but I also developed man boobs and fat around my waist…these are the side effects of taking such a heavy dose. Needless to say I have stopped taking it, at least until the symptoms disappear.
I hope you can post this warning so somebody else does not make the same mistake of taking too much Colosturm.

Sam, now that it’s a couple of months later,I was wondering how are things with your knees and other problems?
When I read your comment,I thought that 3 weeks probably isn’t long enough to give a natural supplement before making a decision on whether or not it works well. I was heartened to hear that it helped your other ailment.
